Agreement and eligibility

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AlcyoneVPN (the “Application” or “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service and uninstall it.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

The Service

AlcyoneVPN uses Android VpnService to create a user-requested network tunnel and route device traffic through selected VPN or proxy infrastructure. Features may include standard and video-oriented US routing entries, connection controls, a session timer, estimated transfer activity, exit-IP information, notifications, advertising, rewarded session time, support, sharing, and legal information.

You must approve Android's system VPN request before the first connection. An ongoing Android notification keeps an active background tunnel visible and may display status or transfer rates and provide a Stop action.

Session time, advertising, and configuration

The bundled configuration currently provides approximately five minutes of VPN session time and may disconnect the tunnel when time ends. The Application may offer an optional rewarded advertisement that adds time after successful completion; the current implementation may add approximately sixty seconds. Session limits, rewards, nodes, advertising scenes, and other settings may be changed by remote or updated configuration.

AlcyoneVPN is advertising-supported and may show app-open, native, interstitial, or rewarded ads where enabled, including around connection, node-selection, IP-check, disconnect, or time-extension flows. We do not guarantee that an ad or reward will be available, load successfully, or provide a particular result. Do not manipulate ad delivery, clicks, impressions, rewards, or consent mechanisms.

License and intellectual property

Subject to these Terms, the Service Provider grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to install and use the Application on a compatible Android device for lawful personal use.

The Application, branding, interfaces, code, content, designs, databases, and related intellectual-property rights belong to the Service Provider or its licensors. Except where applicable law expressly allows it, you may not copy, sell, rent, redistribute, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code, create derivative works, remove notices, or misuse trademarks or branding.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for your activity through the Service. You agree not to:

• violate applicable law, sanctions, court orders, or third-party terms or rights;
• attack, probe, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or networks;
• distribute malware, spam, deceptive content, abusive material, or material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
• use the Service to conceal unlawful conduct, facilitate fraud, harass others, or bypass restrictions unlawfully;
• interfere with the Application, VPN infrastructure, advertising, diagnostics, security, time limits, or traffic controls;
• resell, share, automate, or commercially exploit access without written permission.

We may investigate suspected abuse and suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, providers, rights holders, or the public, or to comply with law.

Your device and network responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining a compatible, secure, and updated device and for protecting access to it. Rooting, jailbreaking, insecure software, or altered operating-system controls may expose your device or cause the Application to fail.

The Service requires internet access. Your mobile carrier or internet provider may charge for data, roaming, or other usage. You are responsible for those charges and for obtaining permission from the device or account owner. VPN routing may increase data use, latency, or battery consumption.

Continue using HTTPS, strong passwords, multifactor authentication where available, current software, and appropriate security precautions. Do not rely on the Service as your only safeguard.

Nodes, IP information, and performance

Node names and country labels describe selectable routing options. They do not prove that each entry is a distinct physical server or guarantee a particular city, host, route, gateway, jurisdiction, or exit IP. Remote configuration can change available options.

Exit-IP and related information may be obtained from external IP-information services. Results can be unavailable, delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Speed, latency, transfer estimates, connection success, location information, and availability depend on factors outside our control, including your device, provider, physical region, selected option, routing, congestion, third-party infrastructure, and service capacity.

Privacy and VPN processing

Use of the Service is subject to the privacy notice made available in the Application. Operating a VPN requires processing traffic and network metadata through VPN or proxy infrastructure. The Application and integrated providers may also process device, identifier, IP-derived location, connection, node, session, byte-count, crash, diagnostic, advertising, consent, and interaction information.

You must not transmit information through the Service if doing so would violate law or obligations that apply to you. You acknowledge that traffic may pass through providers or jurisdictions different from your own.

Third-party services and content

The Application may integrate or communicate with VPN and hosting infrastructure, Google Play services, Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, Facebook/Meta services, IP-information services, remote configuration, and other providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and notices. We do not control or endorse content, products, websites, or services that you access through the VPN.

Google Play and your device platform may impose additional terms. If third-party terms conflict with these Terms concerning a third party's service, that third party's terms govern your use of its service.

Changes, updates, suspension, and termination

We may modify, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Application or Service, including features, nodes, session rules, ads, infrastructure, eligibility, or availability. Updates may be required for continued use. We do not promise to support every device, Android version, region, or configuration indefinitely.

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting and uninstalling the Application. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the Service, or if operation becomes commercially, technically, or legally impractical. On termination, the license granted to you ends.

Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APPLICATION AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

We do not warrant that the Service will connect, remain connected, meet a speed or location expectation, prevent interception or tracking, bypass a restriction, be error-free, preserve all data, or be suitable for high-risk or emergency use. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE PROVIDER, DEVELOPER, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, SERVICE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APPLICATION OR SERVICE.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly for the Service during the twelve months before the claim or US$10. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service Provider and its affiliates, personnel, licensors, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your unlawful use, your content or conduct, or your material violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law in your place of residence applies. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Subject to mandatory law, courts located in Wyoming will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

General provisions

These Terms, together with notices expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement concerning the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, transaction, or service transfer. Headings are for convenience only.

We may revise these Terms as the Application, law, providers, or practices change. The revised document will display a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
